Already a licensed Property and Casualty Insurance Broker, Lance began contacting any aviation insurance underwriter who would speak with him. One thing was certain-- his limited knowledge of aviation insurance surpassed that of the agents who were handling McSwiggan's account. Turning McSwiggan's $250,000 insurance renewal into a $170,000 insurance bill without compromising needed coverage was welcomed news for Academy Airlines, and the launch of a new career. Lance founded the mono-line aviation insurance agency, Lance Toland Associates.
Now in its 28th year, Lance Toland Associates is a recognized leader in aviation Insurance; a regular guest speaker at many aviation-related events on the topic of aviation insurance, Lance has participated in various aviation panel groups, including
